CRAH units are air-handling devices used in data centre environments. COM.SAR includes these and other commissioned cooling and ventilation components in specialist equipment cleaning, coordinated with facilities and system managers.
Clarify access and components
Enclosures, accessible internal areas and individual components are agreed. Opening, necessary disassembly and reassembly are part of the plan.
Adapt methods to the system
Component condition and manufacturer requirements determine the approach. Dehumidified, residue-free compressed air is used where appropriate. Cleaning does not automatically replace equipment maintenance or hygiene inspection.
Coordinate service windows
The required system state, shutdowns and interfaces with technical support are clarified beforehand. We document the agreed work and relevant observations.
