Panels can refer to very different components. We first establish whether the task concerns patch panels, control surfaces, distribution areas or other units. Internal and external cleaning follows the design, access and sensitivity of each device.
Define the work at component level
Surfaces, connection areas and accessible internal spaces are clearly identified. Occupied ports, labels, seals and sensitive controls are considered during planning.
Select appropriate methods
Mechanical cleaning and dehumidified, residue-free compressed air are used only where suitable. Manufacturer requirements and the risk of moving particles into contacts or other equipment are taken into account.
Coordinate responsibilities
Disconnecting connections, opening enclosures and shutdowns are agreed in advance. Cleaning does not constitute electrical testing or a blanket functional approval.
Frequently asked
Can one project cover different panel types?
Yes. Provide an equipment list or describe the types. We will agree the scope and methods for each.
