Our mobile ESD workstation supports suitable hardware-cleaning work at customer sites. It does not automatically protect or certify an entire facility: integration with the site ESD arrangements and coordination with responsible teams are essential.
Integrate ESD requirements
ESD means electrostatic discharge. We account for site protection arrangements before work begins. IEC 61340-5-1 addresses protection of electronic parts and assemblies from electrostatic phenomena; this description does not claim certification.
Prepare the working area
We discuss space, access, equipment preparation and required protective measures. Handling of open devices and sensitive components is planned for each equipment type.
Dehumidified, residue-free compressed air
This method complements equipment cleaning where technically suitable. Pressure, distance and procedure follow the components and manufacturer requirements. Suitability is not assumed for every material or device.
Document responsibilities
Treated equipment and completed work are recorded to the agreed scope. A visibly clean surface alone does not demonstrate electrical safety or functional performance.
Frequently asked
Is ESD cleaning an electrical test?
No. ESD precautions, equipment cleaning and electrical testing serve different purposes and are assigned clear responsibilities.
