COM.SAR cleans transformers, low- and high-voltage equipment and other commissioned electrical installations internally and externally. Equipment design, manufacturer requirements and approvals from responsible specialists form the basis.
Establish the equipment state
Work is planned in the agreed safe equipment state. Shutdowns, electrical isolation and responsibilities are clarified with the operator and appropriate specialists beforehand.
Define internal and external areas
Enclosures, surfaces and internal areas are specified for each device. Access, necessary disassembly and suitable methods, including dehumidified, residue-free compressed air, are agreed.
Electrical testing remains separate
Germany’s DGUV Regulation 3 concerns electrical systems and equipment testing. Cleaning does not replace this testing. DGUV testing is discussed as technical context and is not offered here as a COM.SAR service. Austria and Switzerland require consideration of their applicable rules.
